Silhouette On The Road (hitchhiker's lament)

Thumb pointed with 
                      a questioned confidence.

Face red,
            wind is not a friend.

Human against machine,
                             nature a spectator.

All alone on a black floor,
                   the stars are her only companions.

The moon gives off a sinister smile.

To hide from it is only for fools.

A comet streaks across the sky,

A wish is made but no reply.
